My art is inspired by diving into personal darkness, to find the growth and healing that resides there. We can never expect to reach an end to becoming, and to me that is the true human experience.
My paintings portray deep and complex feelings that language cannot convey, and sometimes the full extent of those feelings isn't understood until a painting is finished and I have a moment to really observe it as it's own entity. Through my art, I hope for the viewer to find the balance between the inevitable suffering in this world, and the higher purpose of that struggle... but also indulge and wander into the fantasy worlds I create.
